Job Opening – MWD Engineer (Thailand, Land Rig)
We are looking for motivated individuals who are eager to learn, grow, and build a long-term career in the oil & gas industry.
This opportunity is for MWD Engineer positions supporting land rig operations in Thailand.
Job Responsibilities
Under supervision, the MWD Engineer will support and perform Measurement While Drilling (MWD) operations, including:
- Preparing MWD tools and equipment before job execution
- Monitoring and acquiring real-time drilling data
- Delivering accurate data and technical support to the customer
- Maintaining equipment inventory and ensuring proper equipment movement to and from the wellsite
- Inspecting tools and identifying repair or maintenance requirements
- Maintaining drilling databases and operational records for ongoing jobs
- Providing technical and operational support to customers at the wellsite
This role requires learning and applying MWD processes, tools, software, and field equipment used in service delivery.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of oil & gas industry experience
- Previous MWD experience is a strong advantage
- Completion of MWD School / MWD Training is considered a plus
- Diploma (minimum 3 years) or equivalent required
- Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) is preferred
- Strong technical, problem-solving, and communication skills
